Sharing a brief update. I heard back from LPGS Friday evening and replied yesterday morning and again this morning. Unfortunately we've not made progress just yet in rectifying the issue. The bot is not generating any log file entries despite all configuration options being correct. This suggests the bot is not doing anything at startup, even though it indicates being online. That file is where the bot reports the status of each commands the server processes at startup.

Not sure what the root cause is here but am hopeful to reach a resolution in the next 24 hours.

Thank you all for your patience and to all the admins for being additionally diligent and available to assist.

We are currently evaluating higher than normal ping times and instances of packetloss on our network in St. Louis. There is no need to open a ticket for this issue at this time while we work to troubleshoot and address the issue.

I'll ask if they can move server #2 to another hosting location. although they've been unable to service such requests when technical issues have arisen in the past.

Currently the majority on our network in chicago in under a large scale ddos attack. The server ip's have been blocked during this outage. If your server show up as unknown your server ip is in the blocked range. We were told due to the size of the attack this may be a 24 hours block.
Unfortunately we can not move servers during this attack.

I received a report a few minutes ago that all players were kicked from this server and upon trying to reconnect the server is somehow running on the 1.7 patch, not the 1.2 patch.

Based on what I can tell this was not a change anyone on my end initiated. Can you please confirm what caused the change to be made? The server should be running 1.2.

I cannot find any direct logs of a recent update to the server, I am not exactly sure why this has occurred. Do you wish the server downgraded back to 1.2?

I have initiated the request via the server mods menu.

So it's unclear what triggered the server to be upgraded? Can you at least see any info about recent logons to this GS account in the last 24 hours (including IP address)? We do have a couple of admin accounts setup.

Was there any loss of data with this issue, or was the server just running 1.7?

It looks as if the server was migrated to a different machine, and as a result may have reverted to the default build in the process. We're sorry for the inconvenience. The migration was required due to an issue with the previous machine and had to be made immediately.

Thanks Jake, I appreciate you clarifying what happened. I believe all data is intact.

It's not surprising to hear there was a problem with the server, we had noticed sporadic lag a lot more frequently over the last couple of weeks.
