Now just for grins I went to see if the old 1.2 version would start up and now I can't even find any of the servers, go figure?

My STEAM name is TyphoonRat but try typhoonrat all lower case instead.

I finally broke down after many unsuccessful attempts at downloading patches and I finally purchased the game through STEAM.
As most of you probably are doing you have to redo your profile and start from scratch. This will be about the 5th time for me.
I've tried to put my normal name in [s*8].RAT but for some reason it won't accept brackets [ and ]
does anybody have an idea?

After you make your profile, go into multiplayer options and you.can change your name there.
Or the way I do it is type in console /name [s.8].RAT

Thanks everybody Tarzan reminded me how to do it through multiplayer options and I'm up and running. Lots of new people out there nice to see Trogg as an administrator by the way [s*8].RAT
