No it does not.
Trogg, I can't follow those instructions anymore as I have already edited both those files with no effect. The original versions have been lost.

Are you running Steam version or updated 1.7 ?
I have both versions but play with updated 1.7 and have saved in numerous places copies of my profile just in case i need to replace the files.
Just editing this post.
I found my Steam profiles in Steam folder / steamapps / common / Call Of Duty 4 / players / profiles and also where you will find any in game recordings under demos.
Don't know if this helps at all.
