Because I know you all care so much, I figure I'll give you another update on my computer situation
I got new parts, and fully rebuilt my computer. As it turns out, my motherboard is bad, so until I get a new one, I'm still out for the count.
It's being worked on, and hopefully I'll see all your cartoons soon, so we may enjoy a good serving of friendly violence together.

Simply brutal. My 2007 spend of $300 for an entire machine seems like a ridiculous bargain...

Yes, it's definitely a tragedy. But I agree. I'm on the lookout for either a cheap motherboard compatible with my CPU, or a bargain full setup that I can modify with my own, better parts

I opted for the latter and have done that twice. Gone through more GPU's than anything else...

Yeahhh, it's about time I upgraded my gpu... I'm still running an EVGA GTX 260...
